Fast Times Never Cease
I thought that once the race season was over, I'd have some time to relax. As Gina can attest, that's hardly been the case. Between spending a bunch of time getting our fifty race series ready for it's third season, working to pay off the credit card tab from this past year, and already focusing time on sponsorship plans for the '07 season, life's been anything but slow.
The fifty series is a lot of fun, but it's a lot of work. There are four of us (Gina included) who primarily run things, and the series has grown so much (nearly 90 members) that there's a greater level of commitment required to run it, where as it originally started as a few of us just trying to find a place to ride during the winter months.
I'm trying to find a balance where I'm not spending too much effort on the series, but that hasn't been successful thus far. I really need to spend more time on roadrace sponsorship (I've been spending a lot already), as that is key if I want to do the 2007 season the way it needs to be done.
If you happen to have any leads on someone who wants to sponsor an up and coming roadracer, feel free to let me know. :)
