Witchkraft Racing: The Search for Speed

	Joe Kraft Detroit, Michigan Position: Crew Chief Residence: Detroit, Michigan Experience: 15+ years of racing and building bikes successfully in the AMA, WERA and CCS ranks. Crew Chief in the AMA since 2008 and led the effort to a 9th place and 11th place finish in AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike at Mid-Ohio in 2011, in the team's first entry into the class. Ohlins certified and owner of Witchkraft Motorsports. When not running the show, he dusts off his SV650 and goes racing, usually at the front.
	Doug Cornett Fowlerville, Michigan Position: Crew / Rider Coach Residence: Fowlerville, Michigan Experience: 15+ years of experience racing with WERA, CCS and the AMA. Doug is an engineer, certified with Ohlins' suspension - and has been an integral part of Witchkraft Team since 2007. Doug also has been part of our results with AMA Pro Racing since 2008 and has added Moto 2 experience on his resume as well.
	Aaron Bagwell Burt, Michigan Position: Rider / Crew Residence: Burt, Michigan Experience: Current racer and overall can-do-anything-and-everything when it comes to the bikes. Aaron has worked at numerous AMA events, as well as competing in the AMA himself. His tireless work effort and dedication to helping the team has made our team a much better one. Aaron most recently was the Crew Chief for the Wounded Warriors AMA Pro XR1200 team at Indy.
	Matt Kraft Detroit, Michigan Position: Crew / Public & Media Relations Residence: Detroit, Michigan Experience: From crew responsibilities to handling photos, video, viral marketing and many organizational tasks, Matt's eye for a professional appearance and team representation is a big asset for the team.
	Eddie Kraft Detroit, Michigan Position: Rider Residence: Detroit, Michigan Experience: Over 85 wins and two National Championships competing in WERA regional, national and AMA sanctioned events. Competed in AMA Supersport in 2008.

Witchkraft Racing History

Witchkraft Racing originated in 1994 with Joe Kraft, Mike Merrill, Chuck Seilnacht, Kevin Patmore, along with Wes and Jan Swain. During that time, the entire team had received numerous accolades, both at the amateur and expert ranks. The team was rooted back in the old Great Lakes Roadracing Association (GLRRA) days and stemmed from friendships that were made during that time. Kevin Patmore helped establish the team's identity, which is still represented today in the Witchkraft name.

As the team continued to race, additions to the core group included Bob Watson and Eddie Kraft, who added to the team's accomplished list of race wins and championships. Chad Tefft and Aaron Bagwell also became close friends and quickly joined the team as well - further contributing to the list of notable accomplishments.

Fast forward several years, and while most of the original founding members have hung up their leathers, the original foundation of comraderie and racing hard exists more than ever.
