Indy Dealer Show Recap
The Indy show was a really good time. As mentioned, my dad and I were there Saturday and Sunday. The show was huge and there was definitely no way to tackle the entire list of dealers in just one day.
We talked to current sponsors including Trackside Racers Supply, Woodcraft, Pit Bull, Dynojet, Motion Pro, Suomy, Barnett and Lockhart Phillips, which was great – especially meeting a few people in person that I had only talked to over the phone previously. Each vendor had parts on display – Suomy with new helmet designs, Motion Pro with new tools, and probably the one I'm most excited about – Woodcraft's new tire warmers. I won't go into detail about them, but it's suffice to say they've added a couple really cool features to the warmer – all while being able to actually reduce the price from their current high-end warmers. Hopefully they'll be tested and done in time when the season starts, as we'd like to be using them by the first event at Nelson.
Other than that, several new contacts were made which will hopefully provide to be beneficial down the road. We couldn't help but see a ton of people we knew down there, which made the trip that much more worthwhile. Thanks again to Dan and Scott who made the trip possible. Also thanks to Wade Parish, who's band provided the entertainment Saturday night at a local bar just a few miles from the show.
Cheers.
