Grattan Highlights: Part 1 [750 Superstock Race]
Jeff Kovack is the man. All the onboard video you see on this site is from him. He has a high-quality setup that works great for catching the action as it happens. And as it happens, we've been racing pretty close to each other this year, where he's captured some great footage (case in point – the Sherman incident).
The above clip is the last lap of the 750 Superstock race (check out the race report for a full recap), where I'm able to get in front of Jeff for 4th place and then pass Jeff Agnes before the checkered flag for 3rd. The clip shows my first look at passing Agnes in T3 and then where I ultimately am able to put a pass on him in the sweeper. We go through the hairpin side by side, and up the hill through 10A, conscious that I needed a good drive so he wouldn't be able to draft me to the finish line with his bigger motor. Agnes is a good guy, as he came over and congratulated me on a good race afterwards. Although from watching him cross the finish line, you might not think he was happy with the end result. :) Highlight number two will be out next week ..

now THAT was a fun weekend…. always a blast racing with you and agnes!
Yeah for sure. Definitely a fun weekend. We just need to move up a couple spots and be racing for the top spot. :)
Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a
very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Firefox.
Excellent Blog!
Thank you!
