Pit Bull’s New Trailer Restraint
If you're not familiar with Pit Bull, they make arguably the best bike stands on the market today, among other things. Charlie VanValkenburg runs Pit Bull and has been leading the way for a number of years with the products he sells. The latest product Pit Bull is offering is a new way to secure your bike in the trailer. Rather than use tie-downs to hold the bike in place (which puts pressure/load on the bike that can damage parts such as fork seals and your shock), Pit Bull's latest Trailer Restraint simply holds the bike in the trailer without any force or load applied whatsoever.
The Trailer Restraint has just been officially released and to help show what it does, Charlie has posted several videos on YouTube showing just how the Trailer Restraint works. They're worth checking out, as within a few years this very well may be the way you transport your bike – whether you're going to the track, or just for a long road trip.
