Congratulations Joe Kraft
Congratulations to Joe for locking up the WERA Formula 2 and Lightweight Twins Superbike expert championships this past weekend at Nelson Ledges, concluding the 2008 race season.
We arrived Saturday afternoon and not having much practice, he got up to speed quick enough to finish 2nd in both races to lock up the points in each class. He needed only to finish each race and while he wanted to race for wins, he rode smart and finished where he needed to lock up the championships.
Joe rode extremely well all season long. A well-maintained bike and some superb riding made for a great combination. I've told people that all the fifty-riding we did over the winter had really helped him. He was up to speed when we were at Jennings back in the winter and kept that pace going all season. Congrats again dad. Nice job.

Congrats Joe!!! I look forward to watching you ride next year.
Way to go O’ Fearless Leader…. your troops will help you destroy the competition next season. Yeah, yeah, I’ve had too much coffee.
The first race this season at Nashville was an excellent window on the rest of the season for Joe. He found the fast line onto the banking and blew away everyone. That is what Joe did all season…. find the right line and hit it every lap. We gradually tweeked the bike and rarely made a misstep so Joe could ride with confidence every race. His strength is sweating the details. The teams’ strength is covering our bases.
