Miller Motorsports Park
Miller Motorsports Park will perhaps be the nicest race facility in the U.S. before long. Just nearing completion, this new Utah-based track just outside of Salt Lake City, has been built with the mindset of money being no object. A scant $80 million has been committed to this new facility which features 4 different track configurations; the longest being a 4+ mile roadcourse – rivaling Road America as the longest track in the United States.
Perhaps the biggest form of excitement for motorcycle racers is that Miller Motorsports Park management is different from just about every other track; their main focus being to make the track suitable for both 2-wheel and 4-wheel machines. Often cars take precedence where things such as concrete walls, adequate run-off areas, and other safety concerns aren't fully thought out to accomodate motorcycles.
And to add icing to the cake, the management is continually trying to make the place even better. See the following thread on the WERA bulletin board from the Miller Motorsports mangement team to see for yourself. Internet hookups in each garage is only the beginning ..
