Springing Into … Well, Spring.
There hasn't been too much happening as of late. We've been continuing to work on the bike. It seems that once one list of to-do items has been finished, a new list presents itself and we're working on a new list of things. The end is near though, as I started stickering the bike this past weekend which means the bodywork is on and we're getting close.
It's funny how with even the same bike as last year, we've spent just as much time working on it as we did the previous year when the bike was brand new and in street trim. However this winter has been more about refinements on the bike than anything else. We've done a number of little things to prepare for the season – some of which we've never done before. The idea is that all the little things add up to a better bike out on the track. We'll see.
In the time between now and the season starting, we're hosting our second season kickoff at Kart 2 Kart in a couple weeks. It's a good time, as the event basically consists of friends, food and some go-karting. We will also have the bike on display as well. The date is Sunday, March 29th and if you're interested and haven't received an Evite, chances are I lost or don't have your email address, so please shoot me an email and I'll add you to the list.
Cheers,
- ek

Thanks alot Eddie for the fun time. I’ve never driven karts at K2K and it was a blast. Really got the competitive mind set focused again. With the surround bumpers on the karts…one could take some liberties with space and timing. I admit I drove like Joe on occasion. : )
The “pit” presentation looked especially first class out of context – in the lobby rather than at the track. The bling (trophies) was outstanding too.
Yes, the bumpers on the karts can help you “persuade” someone to give up their line and let you past, when done tactfully. Joe doesn’t always go about it that way – but gets it done one way or another. :)
Glad you had a good time. I did too. Thanks again for coming out. Hope Marion and Austin had a good time as well ..
