Selling Time
With only one race left this season, it's time to put the R6 up for sale. Needless to say, the amount of work spent on prepping and making this bike competitive is hard to quantify. The results this year speak for themselves and that speaks volumes to my dad, Doug and Garry who helped prep the bike to the level it's at today. If you've been reading here, you probably have a pretty good idea of all that was involved.
She has every necessary part or bit on it to go fast, anywhere. 1:20's at Grattan, 1:07's at Nelson Ledges, 57's at BeaveRun, 1:31's at Mid-Ohio and VIR (on shagged tires; in our first visit to the track), so it's plenty competitive. You can see all the details and specs of the bike here:

Yep…Time to hang the leather ups, buy a house, have a baby and become domesticated like the rest of us.
Ps. fix that tab issues I told you about…..
Mmmm no. Time for a new bike. :)
I fixed the tab issue. You’re still having it apparently … ?
So I’m looking at the pix you posted of the tail section and I see a “HAN HAW”
sticker under there. What is that? Some sort of Tiawanese engine knockoff? Do you need some sort of disclaimer or something? :)
Damn Hanshaw knockoffs .. :)
Bike has been sold. *sniff* *sniff*
its about time to start working on a new one as winter is going to be setting in shortly….
Yep, the new bike has been ordered. It might not get here until after the new year though unfortunately.
I’m gonna miss that bike…it had alot of firsts – one DNF, one low side, one blown motor, one guest rider and one broken collarbone. Plus, in 2 seasons- no wet races (so far).
You really like to tempt fate don’t ya? Way to focus on the negative stuff Doug! How about some of the positives? Is someone paying you to do this? :)
