Season Recap Artwork
This is part of what I sent out to everyone affiliated with our team after the season wrapped up. Shortly thereafter, people on a couple forums were looking for some help on what to include for sponsors, so I posted this up for people to look at and help with. The intent was to generate ideas, but it didn't take long before I saw a couple others' stuff online looking strangely similar to this.
The recap is nothing crazy special, but this is why I don't usually show most of the stuff we put together on a regular basis. It just gets duplicated. In any event, it's out here now, so use away. I just wouldn't recommend sending it to the same people we work with. They might catch on.
With the web, you can't hide anything. People can use what they want, which is great to some extent – the web is a great medium for sharing ideas. As has happened in the past though, when one "racer" site looks like another, it's usually pretty easy to see what's happening.
If nothing else, this does generally force keeping things fresh and from becoming too tired and overdone …
Thanks again to Jeff (jeffkovack.com) for the outstanding photography. It's the imagery that really helps the work stand on its own.
