Third Bits
The latest parts to arrive are from Graves Motorsports. Dubbed "Gravy" by Chuck Giachetto (Dane Westby's crew chief), the parts arriving consisted of the titanium Works exhaust system, along with the Works factory rearsets.
The exhaust system speaks for itself (same system we ran last season and still in the box), but the rearsets are especially nice. They're almost like jewelry and are a bit different, in that we ran the fully adjustable ones this past season. These are the fixed rearsets and the shift linkage is a vertical design as opposed to the horizontal design we've run in the past. The vertical setup is a cleaner design as Chuck describes and judging from it, I think these will be even more durable in a crash than the horizontal design was. The rearsets came already assembled and the necessary bolts are already drilled and ready for safety wire. Very nice.
More parts are on the way ….

The foot pegs look like meat hooks, I’d hate to be the meat.
I think I’d replace them with something with out the hook. I mean if that got caught on a boot or under a arm or leg it would take some leathers and maybe meat with it.
Just something to think about. I know your a safety guy like me.
They’re actually not that bad. The Vortex ones .. now those are real sharp. Saw a guy last year crash and get a peg inside his thigh. I would never run those pegs. Way to sharp. These we haven’t had a problem with. In fact with many, I would end up using a saw to add some cross-hatches as grooves for better grip, as my boot would often slide off (I move my feet around on the pegs a lot).
