Sixth Bits
Spiegler's brake lines are the latest parts in. Extremely high quality, steel braided lines and customizable as well – you can pick any color combination for the lines, bolts and fittings, which no one else really does. We went with black lines and red fittings. Pretty basic for our needs. Spiegler also sell brake pads, trick levers, crash pads, sprockets and a host of other goodies. All of their parts can be ordered directly through them, or through Honda East as well.
50 Update: I rode last Wednesday night. Temperature was about 8-10 degrees warmer and riding after the karts had been there all day helped with grip, as I was able to do consistent low 26's, with a best time of 26.00. I worked on a couple sections that were slowing me down previously and that went better. Not many people were there so I was mostly turning laps solo. I did ride around with Brent (Armbruster) for a number of laps on his Open bike, before his motor let go. That's never fun. His bikes are always really sharp and fast as well. He brought tire warmers with him, which I might have to borrow once to try and get back into the 25's in this cold weather.
Cheers,
eddie
