Kushitani Leathers to Arrive
After some delays in the ordering process, the Kushitani leathers I ordered are due to arrive tomorrow, right before we head to Ohio for the WERA round at Nelson Ledges this weekend.
If you've noticed in recent pictures, I've been wearing temporary leathers from Kushitani the past couple of races. Mike from Kushitani sent me a suit to wear while I waited for mine to be finished, after a minor mishap occurred in the ordering process causing an extended delay on them. It's been nice to have a set of leathers that actually fit the way they're supposed to. My previous leathers have undergone a lot of wear and tear, with safety wire and tie wraps holding them together at times.
So barring any problems from UPS, I'll be wearing the new leathers (and helmet) for this weekend's races. The weather looks great and should be a perfect opportunity to knock in some faster lap times.
