Seventh Bits
The latest parts coming into the shop are from Pit Bull. We've been using their steering dampers for years and not only is the product great, but the support Pit Bull offers is excellent for when the time arrives to freshen up the fluid in the damper. Other bits and pieces includes a couple nice DID Gold chains, as well as the full range of Pit Bull sprockets for the coming season. We will also be running their trailer restraints this year, which means no more strapping the bikes down and putting tension on them when in transport.
You know it's one thing to talk about a sponsor's product and say how great it is. You're supposed to do that, but really – Pit Bull is one of those companies out there in the industry that has done it right. Not only are their products the second to none in quality, they support their products better than anyone else – and they support the sport by offering contingency to racers. And this year, more contingency than most in a down economy.
We were able to spend a lot of time with Charlie, George and Aaron at the Indy Dealer Show this past weekend which was well worthwhile. I wouldn't do business with anyone else – especially the companies that have attempted to copy them and infringe on the products they've developed over the years. If you're looking for some of the stuff they sell, I would strongly recommend giving George a call and getting an order together. However I wouldn't recommend having the "mild" shrimp at St. Elmo's per George's recommendation. When your nose and eyes burn and water, it isn't mild. :)
Cheers,
eddie

The trailer restaints are looking pretty sweet. Next you need to show them the contraption you hall the 50 around in the winter with and see what they come up with next. lol
Hey, that’s a sweet contraption! :)
The Pit Bull trailer restraints are second to none! i’ve had it for over 2 years and it’s the easiest/most secure bike transport around! You’re gonna love it…great website by the way, i’ll definitely be keeping up with your blog and hoping to hear some great results!
Great, thanks Andy for the feedback. We’ll be mounting them in the trailer in the next couple weeks. It’ll be nice to not have to worry about tie-downs anymore!
