• WKR to Field Kyle Wyman at AMA Pro Mid-Ohio This Weekend

  WITCHKRAFT RACING TO FIELD KYLE WYMAN FOR AMA PRO HONDA SUPERCYCLE WEEKEND AT MID-OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE

  July 6th, 2011 – Shelby, MI – Witchkraft Racing is heading to Mid-Ohio Sports Car course this weekend and will enter AMA Daytona winner Kyle Wyman for the sixth round of the AMA Pro Series presented by Dunlop Tires, replacing the injured Eddie Kraft.

  Wyman, from Rochester New York, won the AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 race at Daytona International Speedway and has been competing in the series full time this season.  Kyle will also be running in Daytona Sportbike, wearing #133 aboard the team's Yamaha R6 and will join fellow riders Jeff Wrobel and Aaron Bagwell, who will be competing in the AMA Supersport class.

  "I am really excited to be back on a Yamaha this coming weekend at Mid-Ohio," said the 21 year old, "Eddie has given me a tremendous opportunity on great equipment that is very similar to what I have ridden in the past. It's been 10 months since I've ridden a 600, but I'm confident that I will feel right at home on the bike and be comfortable enough to give the team a good result."

  Crew Chief Joe Kraft says, "We're looking forward to working with Kyle and fielding a fast, young rider in the Daytona Sportbike class.  With Eddie out of action, it's good to put someone on the bike and see what kind of feedback we get.  We're eager to put Kyle on our bike which we feel is competitive and can run at the front.  With a solid team around him, we want to make things easy for him and just let him focus on riding."
