• WKR Renews Partnership with GP Tech for 2012

  SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (November 16, 2011) – Witchkraft Racing is happy to announce a renewed partnership with GP Tech for the 2012 season. Geoff Maloney, founder and owner of GP Tech will be providing parts and technical support throughout the season in working with the team's bikes.

  GP Tech offers a variety of racing products, including throttle kits and break-away lever systems that the team has used for the past several seasons that have proven invaluable during the course of a long racing season, with championships at stake. GP Tech has been involved at the AMA Pro level for a number of years, as well as their involvement in Moto2 and latest efforts into the newly-added Moto3 class at the world level.

  Geoff states, "Eddie and the team follow through on their goals and GP Tech is proud to be associated with their well-organized program. Product feedback and promotion are key ingredients that Eddie has provided to us as a sponsor – I'll be looking to help where I can and wishing them the best of luck this season!"

  "I'm really happy to be working with Geoff again," says Eddie Kraft. "It wasn't long ago that Geoff and I raced against each other back when I was on an SV. He had a tricked-out 250 that came out of nowhere when we were at Mid-Ohio RRGC's. Not long after, we started working together and I've certainly benefited from his years of racing experience. I'm looking forward to continuing that into next season and hoping to get a couple more tips from all the latest projects he's been working on!"

  Witchkraft Racing competed in the AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport and Daytona SportBike classes during the 2011 season. The team finished inside the Top 10 in their Daytona SportBike debut and is currently in preparation for the 2012 season with two Yamaha R6 machines.
