Monday Morning Grind
As you can see from the countdown on the left, the days are ticking down until BeaveRun. My dad and I spent some time this past weekend cleaning and organizing the trailer, getting most everything loaded and ready to go. Of course there’s a few last minute things that happen – one of which is picking the tank up from being painted later today. Brian Pfeifer does all of our paint work and does a great job. Much better than just about any race bike paint job out there – and he’s an ex-racer too, so he’s affordable (read, cheap :D). Hopefully it doesn’t touch the ground much, once out on the track (knock on wood).
We’ll be picking the bike up from BSBK on Wednesday and getting it into the trailer for our Thursday evening departure. The weather looks a little sketchy for Saturday and Sunday at the moment (rain), but at least it looks to be warm.
